Green Choice Solar installed the system that includes 5685 Centrosolar E235 solar modules. Approximately 330 kilowatts (kW) of solar was installed on the Community Centre’s roof, and the remaining 1MW was installed across 400 solar carport structures throughout the parking lot.

The installation will reduce the JCC’s energy bills by $6.8 million (USD) over its lifetime and provide enough electricity to power 90% of the 150,000 square-foot (~14,000 square-metre) facility, which houses six organisations serving the Scottsdale community. It will also offset 88.3 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
